If you have been following my online journey since the good old days of documenting my and my family’s outfits in our What We Wore series, then A: wow, thank you very much for sticking around all of these years, B: it’s crazy how a decade or more can change a person’s taste and style (I’ve seen many a phase: over tanned, bleached blonde who wore skinny jeans, thrifted blazers, and ’80s heels during everyone’s favorite MySpace days; black box-dyed, hipster hair, wearing vintage dresses and non-prescription Wayfarer glasses; seventies-child, earth toned, caftan hippie vibes, and all the turquoise — fashion is fun. No regrets!) and C: this little WWW throwback is for you. Only it’s not my family. It’s just a few willing participants who love to take outfit selfies, and you know that one of them is yours truly.

I personally love to see what people are wearing. Since before the age of the Internet, I was hoarding every fashion magazine I could get my hands on for outfit inspiration. In middle school, I kept a calendar to plan out my outfits for the month ahead, and made sure to mix-and-match my clothes, as to never repeat the same exact outfit twice. That’s some dedication. Anyway, you get it — I like clothes. I always have. And, I like taking pictures of my clothes. So, I talked some of the ladies behind Bleu into documenting their outfits over the past couple of weeks (turns out they like to take pictures of their clothes, too!), for our first installment of office outfit selfies. Although, some of us are currently OOO having way too much fun — Tiana is headed to New Orleans for her bachelorette party weekend, Meghann is in Austin scouting and planning for her upcoming nuptials, and our other Maegan (there are actually three, thank God they all have different spellings) is in Vegas baby — but it’s okay, we still got the outfit details. Honestly, who knows if this segment will actually see the light of another day (it took over 10 hours to piece together), but hey, it’s been fun, and it’s Friday and Fridays are made for fun. If we do it again, I’ll try to sweet-talk some of the other #teamBleu ladies into snapping their ensembles, too. Okay, it’s outfit time…
